ALCOHOL; PARTYING; RECKLESSNESS AND BAD FRIENDS — ENEMIES OF SUCCESS
I share what I live, what I have observed, and what I have learned along the journey. This is not theory—this is counsel from experience.
ALCOHOL
Excessive alcohol is a silent destroyer of dreams.
If you truly weigh the benefits versus the consequences, there is no comparison—the cost is far greater.
Alcohol clouds judgment.
It weakens discipline.
It delays progress.
Most accidents happen under the influence.
Bad decisions multiply—fights, broken relationships, poor financial choices, and regret.
Many destinies have been delayed not because of lack of opportunity, but because of lack of control.
If you can avoid alcohol—avoid it.
If you can’t—minimize it and stay in control.
Because one truth remains:
You can never build an empire while intoxicated.
PARTYING
Enjoy life, yes—but don’t let enjoyment become your lifestyle.
There is a difference between celebrating occasionally and living for the weekend.
Too much partying leads to:
* Lost time
* Lost focus
* Wasted money
* Delayed goals
Every weekend spent recovering is time taken away from building.
The people who move forward are not always the most talented—they are the most consistent.
Balance enjoyment with purpose.
If it doesn’t build you, limit it.
RECKLESSNESS
My 75-year-old mentor once told me:
“Those who live fast rarely live long.”
Recklessness is not just speeding—it’s a mindset.
* Rushing decisions without thinking
* Jumping into deals without understanding
* Living without structure
* Ignoring consequences
Take it easy. Move with intention.
Avoid unnecessary risks:
* Don’t speed to impress anyone
* Don’t chase everything at once
* Don’t trade long-term success for short-term excitement
Discipline protects destiny.
FRIENDS (OR HIDDEN ENEMIES OF PROGRESS)
Company builds character.
It is true: bad company corrupts good manners.
Your circle can either elevate you or destroy you quietly.
Some friends normalize:
* Drinking every weekend
* Irresponsibility
* Disrespect in relationships
* Lack of ambition
And slowly, without noticing, you become like them.
I know someone who, after changing his circle, began going out every Friday and returning home Sunday—drunk.
When his wife questioned him, he became abusive.
That is not success.
You cannot destroy your home and expect to build your future.
Peace at home brings clarity.
Stability creates strength.
A strong home is a breeding ground for growth, favor, and breakthrough.
You, as a man, must take responsibility.
Guard your time.
Guard your habits.
Guard your circle.
Not everything that feels good is good for you.
Not everyone around you is meant to go where you are going.
If you are serious about success, your lifestyle must reflect it.
Because in the end—
Your future is built daily, through the choices you make when no one is watching.
