Old Mutual has launched a E-wallet service called Omari meaning here is your money.
The service offers 2 wallets a ZWL wallet and a USD wallet.
The ZWL comes with a Zimswitch debit card while the USD comes with a Visa card.
Like all wallets out there ,they can pay merchants ,pay bills, insurance, investment buy airtime and many more.
For online payments one has to generate the virtual visa card for all online transactions.The visa card can make ATM withdrawals at any Visa machine.
You must have funds in the wallets to request a ZWL or a USD card then choose location to go and collect the card from your nearest Cabs The cards come in various colors to choose from.
The wallets are accessable on Omari app on playstore and Apple store, on whatsapp 077 470 7707 and USSD *707#

1. What are the maximum balances one can have in the ZWL and USD wallets ?
-There is no prescribed maximum balance on both currencies. Customers can deposit any amounts.
2.What is maximum withdrawal limit on the USD wallet ?
-Maximum per transaction is USD500 and the monthly limit is USD2,000
3.Can I withdraw from the USD wallet at Cabs ATM ?
-Withdrawal currently will be enabled for the VISA card.
4.Can the USD wallet receive money from other Nostro accounts or Ecocash USD ???
-No, customers cannot receive a nostro RTGS into the wallet. Moreover Zimswitch is still working on enabling USD ZIPIT for financial institutions.
5. Do the ZWL or Visa cards have option to personalize them or just instant cards ?
-Not enabled currently
