December is coming and people are going to the villages.

Please avoid the following :

1. Stop complaining about the heat everyday. You grew up there, stop complaining that it is hot.

2. Speak your local language. It is unnecessary and attention seeking to be speaking English to locals. Worse speaking English with your nose.

3. Stop flaunting mineral water around the village unnecessarily. There is probably water challenges there. 

4. Stop asking whether there is Chicken inn? Where have you seen Macdonalds in the village?

5. Don't look down on the local people. You grew up there, so stay humble.

6. Share with others what you have and show humanity.

7. Stop walking the village like a tourist and taking pictures of goats saying this animal is beautiful. You are a local.

8. There are no flush toilets carry as much newspaper and share with others. They are for reading and sanitation. 

9. When you cook food always prepare extra the people there are full of love they turn up without appointment. 

10. Find out who may have passed on during your absence and make sure you visit each affected home to pay your condolences. 

11. Finally your children should communicate to people in shona or the local language of the area and always be appropriately dressed especially the girls.
