Why is it that in African illiterates get rich quick and it disappears easily in no time?
Trust me, I understand this question more than you imagine . In Africa, it seems like the more of a nuisance you are, the more wealth you'll have. I wouldn't mention names, but we all know a lot of rich politicians, musicians,footballers, actors, celebrities and even that noisy guy around the neighborhood who stays at home smoking all day and changes cars every month.
With all the show off, you'd be surprised to see that in a few years time they lost all their wealth. This has become all too common.Some become homeless and have to beg on the streets to earn a living, some have kidney, liver illness or cancer and launch fundraisers ,some end up travelling to another country because of the shame. It goes on and on.
Here are a few reasons for these continuos grace to grass stories :
Living Ostentatiously
Most people want to become rich only to show off, even though many won't admit it,this is what motivates them.They end up spending the money faster than they earn it.
The money was gotten illegally
Most of these guys probably stole the money in government , did some kind of fraud, drugs, Oil bunkering etc. My point here is that the money wasn't grown organically, the person has been stealing for years and when their source of wealth runs dry, it doesn't take long before they hit rock bottom.
They failed to Invest
Most Africans don't invest or believe in investments, investments take years and we aren't very patient people .So instead, they focus on increasing their earnings and spending lavishly.
Lack of Exposure
They may have the money, but they fail to surround themselves with the right people, they surround themselves with birds of same feather and think life is all about girls, booze and drugs. They picks the wrong role models and sooner than they know ,will end up like them.
Lack of financial Education
This one is very easy,even the Bible says “A fool and his money will soon part ways" ,money doesn't remain by luck, it takes knowledge to manage wealth, something these boastful illiterates lack.
Taking advice from wrong People
Most of them take advice from people like themselves who soon help them squander their wealth. A blind man can't lead another blind man.
Cults or Satanism
They use traditional magic (juju) /magic sticks that get money from people.Some kill babies for money rituals,using private parts that will give them instant money .Snakes that vomit money are another source.Goblins that produces money after sacrificing a relative or family member.Each year a sacrifice would have to be made.Some sacrifice a body part in exchange for money.Usually this form of getting wealth never goes beyond 5years then they die without a cause, how many people do you know that have no wife or children but just spend on ladies of the night only.
In 2022 some people in Zimbabwe where getting toes cut just to get money to buy a latest Toyota Hilux GD6,but the wound would not heal for life.
I'm guessing you aren't an illiterate,don't make these same mistakes most of them make .
