How The USA Nursing Scam Works

An individual from Africa is promised sponsorship that includes work visa,airplane ticket,accommodation to USA to work as a nurse.They first go through what they call online assessment which are multiple choice questions sent to the individual's email address using google forms.From there they are interviewed through video call, once a person has passed these they are then given a contract.

Here is where the scam starts, you are supposed to pay USD$100 to study for NCLEX Tutorials for 24 weeks, after that you then required to go to South Africa for NCLEX Exam at your own expense .Once from South Africa you are to write IELTS at your own expense,then you have other verification fees that you pay for yourself.

The amounts of self expenses are so much and will discourage you somehow along the way, which is what these so called agents know and want that to happen so that you drop out and your $100 will not be refunded back.

The other way they discourage you is by telling you that your Nclex performance is below the required standard and thereof you cannot proceed further with the process,meaning they will add another 1+ months of Nclex Studies.

How To Recognize A Nursing Scam

• They have no proper office and fixed address.Always request to see the location of the business.
• They usually operate from home which is usually the registered business address .At times they will have relocated from that address so not to be traced.
• They select an individual who then runs operations in a specific country know as a country manager (Scam Agent).
• You are required to pay for Nclex tutorials.
• You have spent a year since starting the process and haven't gone anywhere, you have been scammed.
• Proper USA agents do not require ANY FORM OF PAYMENT for any services from you.
• Advertising that promises good life in hard times.
• Being promised placement in Mexico,Texas, Houston where its already populated and chances of jobs are less.

In short you are paying for a service that will not take you anywhere, people as early as 2000s have been scammed from one agent to another but never went to the USA.Once your USD$100 is paid the whole system is very slow that you end up giving up or move on to do other options.

Proper Agents are there with no doubt but its not walk in the park.

Most people that have left Africa have gone through UK process which is fairly easier takes less than 90 days total  than USA which may last 2+ years or never at all.

The american system was designed for Americans only.Fellow Nurses from Africa do not be scammed of the little monies you struggle to get and support your families.
