Is he having an affair? Top 10 signs he's cheating on you…
If you're reading this, it's safe to presume that you already have a sneaky suspicion your partner is cheating. But is he displaying any of the following tell-tale signs? And, before you leap to conclusions, could there be any other reason for his changed behaviour?
1. HIS ROUTINE HAS CHANGED
Is he suddenly arriving home an hour later or leaving an hour later? Are there unexplained disappearances at weekends? It could be time to sit him down and ask him what's up.
2. HE'S ALWAYS 'ON'
On Facebook, on the phone, on the computer, on What's App… he's always tied to something, and it's usually social media.
3. HE'S HIDING HIS BILLS FROM YOU
Phone bills, receipts, credit card history, PayPal accounts… it all adds up. However most men will be looking for an untraceable way to fund their affair, so large transfers or cash withdrawals could also be red flags.
4. HIS SOCIAL APPETITE HAS CHANGED
A sudden shift in what's "regular" or familiar in bed — without a discussion of wanting something new — is a big warning sign of cheating. This could be more sex than usual, or no sex at all – only you know what feels strange and unusual.
5. HE'S VERY VAGUE/ TOO DETAILED
Is he being vague about where he's been? Or is he explaining so much it sounds rehearsed? And, more importantly – is this different from his usual behaviour?
5. HE'S BEING LESS AFFECTIONATE
Does he forget to ask how you are? When's the last time he said 'I love you'? If you can't remember, this implies that something has changed between you.
6. HIS APPERANCE HAS CHANGED
Is he suddenly going to the gym or on a diet? Is he changing how he dresses, or got himself a new hair style? While he could just be trying something new, dating experts have suggested that he could be trying to impress some-ONE new.
7. HE HAS NEW FRIENDS
Yes, he's allowed friends – obviously he is – but listen to what he tells you about his new friendships. If he’s being furtive and starts going out with someone you don’t know much about, and don’t get introduced to, it could spell trouble.
8. HE'S BEHAVING SUSPICIOUSLY WITH HIS PHONE
Is he suddenly walking out of the room to take private calls? Has he suddenly started to lock his phone? Can you hear him texting from the bathroom? All red flags. Top tip? Don't break into his phone to see what's going on – you'll lose the moral high ground in minutes.
9. HE'S DIFFICULT TO GET IN TOUCH WITH
Mobile phones have made it easier than ever for people to stay in touch with each other – so if he's constantly 'out of signal' or 'can't hear' his phone ringing, it could be a sign that something is awry.
