WAYS TO SHOW YOUR HUSBUND THAT YOU LOVE HIM

1. The R-Word, RESPECT
Men need respect, mamuka sei daddy, maswera sei Maposa (some like their totem so much). Don’t undermine his decisions (You have agreed to do a, b, c but you go and do x,y,z). If you disagree with him on something do so respectfully and in a better way, (instead of “Iwe Ray (shouting), zvaurikuronga hazvina kana musoro, he-he-de” say “ Ko Daddy, tikadai munozvionawo sei?”) Don’t rebuke him in public.

2. Make an honest effort to enjoy his hobby
If he likes soccer, try to support his team, know a bit about the team. Surprise him with his team’s soccer jersey. Congratulate him when his team wins. Don’t declare war on his hobbies.

3. Make him his favourite food/treat
The women of old used to say, “the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach”. Cook him his favourite dish more often, bake him his favourite treat.

4. Pray for him
Even if he is not prayerful, the fact that he knows you pray for him, makes him feel loved and as sure as the sun rises, he will join you in prayer one day.

5. Plan a romantic night at home
Sometimes, sent the kids to your sisters, friends for sleep overs. Cook his favourite dish, run him the tub, kana kungogeza mese so, and tell him “tonight I want to concentrate on you.”

6. Trust him
Sisters, don’t get in the habit of going over his messages. Kana pane chakavanzika chinozobuda chete, rinamanyanga hariputirwe. Don’t question his every move, his every stare. Don’t interrogate him on his day (hee nhasi matakura ani muchienda kubasa, pa lunch mabuda nani, saka mazodzoka nani, ko uyu ati hesi Forbes pa whatsapp asina zita ndiani,) ple-a-s-e!!!

7. Compliment him
Tell him how amazing he is, pembedza murume. Even after intimacy, kana abata basa mupembedze kuti “haa Mukanya marova basa, kasi madya mushonga?”. Ukadaro watodenha 2nd and 3rd round.

8. Love his Relatives, Yes even his MOTHER!!!!
Love his relatives unconditionally, never treat your family members better than his. Treat them equaly.

9. Allow him private time
Allow him to spend time with his friends, attend man’s fellowship. When he comes back, he will be refreshed and missing you!

10. Welcome him
When he comes back home, stop whatever you are doing and greet him at the door, depending on who is in the house with you, you can give him a kiss, a hug or just carry zvauya nazvo. Help him to remove his tie, ask him how his day was and tell him when his food will be ready!!!
