  1. In Zimbabwe, a totem also includes an animal totemic figure. Do EmaSwati and or MaNgcamane do this also and what would be the animal or nature totem of the Ngcamane-Swati?

  3. We are called Abaka Ndlovu and the attire of the clan has elephant represented there and the Maseko are called Nkosi Yamakhosi or king of kings. Sadly the people of Nguni/Ngoni do not have a sophisticated totemic lore as the Karanga etc do.
We are more about izibongo or clan genealogical memory. There are mentions of animals such as the central elephant which is an allusion to the Great progenitor who was called Ndlovu as well as mention of intendele/ a sort of Guinea foul ...

    1. Sawubona Ngcamane elihle; please tell me more about the foul. I know about the elephant, but strangely have attracted a bird to me that I've adopted since it kept following me.
